Some kitchens exist in isolation. But much of the pleasure in designing others comes from finding ways to integrate them into, and have them respond to, their settings. This one picks up on, and contributes to, a wood-rich modernity, a bit of Scandinavia in a Kentish village. I know: how pretentious does that sound?
